Today is the start of a children’s festival held in Morzine every year and it is just gorgeous. They’ve created a little fairy dell in the central square staffed by elves who run workshops on things like making magic hats, face painting and stilt-walking. The festival was opened by mythical-creature-type things on stilts – really pretty – and there are also various shows and parades over the next few days – we are going to one this afternoon.
