Visit Midsomer

Ooh two posts in one day. I couldn’t resist an extra little post about the new Visit Midsomer website I’ve just heard about. Despite me and my husband not actually being 75, we are slightly obsessed by Midsomer Murders and watch one every Sunday night. We can’t get enough of the ludicrous plotlines, Barnaby’s dry wit and Joyce’s general drippiness. Anyway – according to South Oxfordshire District Council, Midsomer (as we affectionately call it) attracts viewers in over 200 million countries worldwide (including here in France, where it is called Inspecteur Barnaby), so they have put together a website so that punters like us can visit the churches, lanes and pubs where countless fictional people have been brutally murdered. How fabulous is that?
